This first atage of filtration occurs as the water passes through the ceramic pre-filter. This is where rusts and other particulate matter are removed. The ceramic filter captures sediments, removing particles and pollutants down to .3 microns in size. The ceramic filter can be washed extending its life up to one year depending on water quality.
